Director

Steven is a Director and Head of our Payroll & Employment Taxes department where he is responsible for the management of employment tax and social security matters for both UK and International clients.

Steven typically works with businesses that have a large employee volume and significant international mobility issues to identify and manage their tax compliance obligations whilst ensuring the most tax efficient processes and procedures are introduced/operated. Steven also has considerable experience in dealing with offshore global employment structures ensuring they are structured correctly to secure and maintain the commercial benefits.

Steven is an ex-HMRC compliance officer and joined the firm in 2007 with many years experience in providing practical advice on PAYE, National Insurance and construction industry scheme compliance issues. Having previously dealt with enquiries during his time at HMRC, Steven is well placed to manage HMRC issues and enquiries. This experience assists clients minimise their PAYE/NIC liabilities in a tax-compliant manner.

In his spare time Steven plays football for a local amateur football team and enjoys the odd round of golf.
