Reservoir Management Ltd (RML) was established in Aberdeen in 1990 to provide specialist reservoir engineering services to companies operating in the North Sea. Since then RML has evolved into a mature international consultancy, providing the full range of sub-surface skills. Value is added by the effective application of appropriate technology, ranging from classical techniques to leading edge computer applications. All services are supplied to the highest standard under an accredited ISO 9001 quality assurance system. Anderson Anderson & Brown were appointed as auditors and tax advisers to Reservoir Management Ltd in February 1996 and has seen the company develop to its current position. The client partner, Colin Watts, is also the tax partner and provides corporate taxation advice to the company and also personal taxation advice to the directors. As the company has grown, specialist advice has been provided in a number of areas including employee share option schemes and a financial restructuring which saw senior members of the then management team buying into the company and at the same time allowing the original directors to extract an element of the company value.
