Jim, a Graduate of the Robert Gordon University, initially joined the firm as a placement student in 1991, returning to commence his CA training in1994 and qualifying in 1997. Jim then worked for an associate firm in Sydney before returning in 1999 in the role of Manager, being promoted to Senior Manager in 2001. Jim became a partner in the firm in 2007.

Jim is responsible for the provision of audit, accounting and corporate services to a portfolio of the firm's clients. Jim's recent experience includes leading international group audit assignments and financial due diligence exercises for banks and venture capitalists. Jim is also responsible for the provision of audit and accounting services to the firm's pension scheme clients.
